“Sharp, bold, fun, unapologetic —
with main character energy.”

About
London duo House of Molly deliver sharp writing with a healthy sense of irreverence. They centre Blackness and queerness, embrace glamour and hedonism, and fully endorse the transportive power of dance music.
The name works on more than one level. It’s a portmanteau of their first names: Mel and Holly. It’s a nod to the Molly House — a sex-positive meeting place for queer men and gender-nonconforming people in the 18th and 19th centuries. And on another level… they’re happy to leave that to your imaginations.
Their releases span Hot Creations, Higher Ground, Three Six Zero, Factory 93 and their own imprint HOM Records, with collaborations alongside Jamie Jones, Eats Everything, Nicole Moudaber and Azzecca. On stage they’re a DJ duo with live vocals — sets built on flow, vocal impact and restraint over excess, at home in clubs, festivals and rooms that don’t behave.
